As part of Maori Language Week we are reading and learning about Myths and Legends. Tales that have been passed down through the generations and retold in different forms to explain things that there was not an answer to.

We have listened to the Legend of how Maui slowed the sun.

We had a fabulous start to the term with certificates galore!

Well done to Briar and Jayziah who passed levels on LEXIA and to Hanaatia and Jayziah for receiving awards in our Junior Assembly, yes that is right Jayziah received TWO certificates!

Measurement- Seasons

This week in maths we have been learning about Measurement. Time is part of Measurement- so we have been discussing the different parts of a day and the different seasons.

Life Education- Self Esteem

We visited Harold and Sarah on the Life Education Bus today.

We discussed how we are all V.I.P's (very important people). We talked about how we are UNIQUE and there is no one like us, we are so special.
