Fractions

This week we have been learning about fractions. A fraction is part of a whole, we are learning this fun song to help us understand what different fractions are:

SPCA Cupcake day

On Monday August the 24th Room 14 and a few other junior school classes will be decorating and selling cupcakes to raise money for our local SPCA.

We need your help to make this day a success, if you can make us a dozen or more un-iced cupcakes or donate some of your time to help us decorate them- please come and see Mrs Wylie or fill in the form that was sent home today.

The Gingerbread Man

As we finish our Measurement unit on the Gingerbread Man, we couldn't possibly finish without actually eating some!

Mrs Wylie baked some Gingerbread men so that we could decorate them with yummy icing and M&Ms!

Happy Birthday

A big Happy Birthday to Blair who celebrated her birthday on Saturday.

She brought along her favourite food to share with the class- Sausage rolls! they went down a treat.
